Sharktech Cloud
High Performance Colud Servers
Sharktech Cloud Services utilizes state-of-the-art technology to provide our customers the best of the cloud virtualization services. Our Cloud Virtualization infrastructure was built using high-end hardware ensuring continuous service availability.
We recognized the problem with standard disk storage and its limitations (especially for multiple R/W enquiries) and we have built a dual storage system that provides our customers with the next-generation Solid State Drives technology. This provides the almost instantaneous R/W, while keeping the benefits of providing abundance of storage using business grade HDD.

These units consist of two different storage types that can rapidly grow depending on your needs.
SAS Based RAID5 Storage: This storage consists of RAID5 Storage enclosure populated with SAS disk drives providing the highest possible R/W performance possible for SAS based disks systems while maintaining redundancy and a fail-safe operations. These storage units are designed to ensure access to the storage never reach maximum throughput by segregating these systems based on the physical server nodes.
SSD Based RAID10: We understood the main bottleneck for any Cloud or Virtual Service computing has always been SAS/SATA based disks and their limited in I/O. We found that the best solution is providing a secondary storage for our Cloud services which is based on high-end Solid State Drives(SSD). These SSD run on SATAIII and have extremely high I/O performance around 500MB/s per disk and 0ns seek time. We have built this second enclosure using RAID10 setup. This will not only provide optimum SSD disk speed but will also provide fail-safe complete redundancy plan as well.

Physical Nodes:
These systems to put it simply are built with state-of-the-art server hardware technology.
Systems: All our physical servers run on SuperMicro based systems.
Processing Power: Each system runs with Four CPUs using AMD Opteron 6100 and 6200 series CPUs. Each CPU range from 8 cores running at 2.1GHz to 16 cores running at 2.4GHz.
Memory: Each system runs on DDR3 ECC with 128GB with a maximum capacity of 512GB.
Operation System: Each system runs their operating system based on a RAID1 SSD storage.

Control System:
After a long period of research we have decided on using Microsoft Hyper-V solution.
OS independent system. Allowing to provide Linux, BSD or Windows based operating systems.
Ease of system migration between physical nodes.
Ease of hardware resource scalability.
Virtual Servers can have upto 4 CPUs and upto 32GB RAM with infinite storage disk.
