Maintenance Completed Successfully. 

06/16/2013 The entire building of our Data Center in Denver is experiencing a catastrophic power failure. We are working on the issue and will have additional updates as soon as we have them. 
06/16/2013 All systems are back up and running. We have been informed by the building management that the cooling pump in the electric room for the building which is responsible for cooling the electrical equipment failed, forcing a system wide emergency shutdown to protect against over-heating, this caused the power failure and stopped the building generator from kicking in. The building management is working on investigating further the cause of failure and to work out a plan to avoid such failures in the future. 

We recently sent out an E-mail detailing maintenace that was to take place on our Chicago network tomorrow (Wednesday, June 12th 2013). Due to scheduling conflicts, we have had to re-schedule the maintenance window to Wednesday, June 19th at 12:00pm CDT.

At first I would like to provide our deepest apologies for the recent power failures we have suffered from in our Denver facility effecting our network core equipment and our Virtual machines nodes. 

We have been intouch with the electrical engineer for our Data center and been working on troubleshooting the issue for the past four days. Unfortunately it seems that one of our UPS units is failing due to some internal technical issue and when it is doing so it's increasing the utilization of the other UPS unit to a much higher level than it can handle and than we are having a domino effect failure. We had already scheduled a power upgrade in our Denver facility unfortunately it seems that an unexpected technical issue has expedited this process. We have taken emergency measures of replacing that UPS unit and adding another circuit to the segment to decrease the load off of the UPS units. 

We are scheduling the power upgrade for our network in Denver for Monday 17th of June 12PM MST. This upgrade should take no more than 1 hour. We will do our best to have everything back operational as quickly as possible.  

On the other hand, we are one step away from finalizing our Denver network infrastructure upgrade increasing the resources available for our Edge and Core routers to almost 3 times their previous capacity. This means our systems will be able to sustain much larger attacks and able to increase our available bandwidth upto 180Gbps. Due to the intrusive nature of the final step we will be including this upgrade to our power upgrade to be scheduled in the week of the 17th of June. 

Our Chicago systems upgrade will be finalized on Wednesday the 12th of June. We hope to have an additional 20Gbps with Zayo (Above.net) in Chicago by the end of this month.  

Again, we are very sorry for the service disruption caused by this, and we hope to not have any more power issues.

On 06/03/2013 we experienced a major power failure to our network infrastructure. All systems are back operational except for a Virtual Servers Node. We are currently working on resolving that issue, once we have resolved this issue we will look into the cause of this problem. 

We are currently in maintenance mode as we are working on upgrading our network infrastructure and this has impacted our Denver network significantly. 

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and rest assured we are doing the best we can to bring all the systems back online and take the necessary actions to ensure similar failures do not occur in the future.
